## What is NannyLog?

NannyLog (formerly Nanny Daily) is an iPhone and iPad app for nannies, babysitters and au pairs. It combines a childcare activity log, daily reports for parents, a nanny hours tracker with one-tap clock-in, invoices, incident reports, expenses, a shared calendar and parent messaging. Parents connect with an invite code and use it free.

## Who it is for

- [For nannies](https://nannydaily.com/nanny-app): Log the day, send daily reports, track hours and invoice every family.
- [For babysitters](https://nannydaily.com/babysitting-app): Log the evening, update the parents and keep track of what you’re owed.
- [For parents](https://nannydaily.com/for-parents): See meals, naps, photos and daily reports from your nanny, free.
- [For au pairs](https://nannydaily.com/au-pair-app): Keep your host family in the loop and keep a record of your hours.

## Features

- [Daily reports for parents](https://nannydaily.com/features/daily-reports) (Free and Premium): NannyLog turns the day’s logs into a short daily report for the parents. On supported iPhones it can draft the summary with Apple Intelligence on the device, and parents get a push notification when the report is sent.
- [Childcare activity log](https://nannydaily.com/features/activity-log) (Free and Premium): NannyLog is a childcare activity log for nannies and babysitters. Meals, naps, diapers, activities, milestones and photos are each a tap or two, timestamped, and visible to the child’s parents in their own app.
- [Hours tracker and clock-in](https://nannydaily.com/features/hours-tracker) (Premium): NannyLog includes a nanny hours tracker. Clock in with one tap when the shift starts, choose which children you are caring for, clock out when you leave, and NannyLog keeps the timesheet and totals for you. Parents can see the same hours.
- [Nanny and babysitter invoices](https://nannydaily.com/features/invoices) (Premium): NannyLog creates nanny and babysitter invoices from tracked hours. Add your payment details once, generate an invoice for a family, and share it as a PDF. Parents can also see invoices in their app.
- [Incident reports](https://nannydaily.com/features/incident-reports) (Free and Premium): NannyLog lets nannies and babysitters document incidents such as falls, bumps or behavior concerns with a severity level, notes and photos. Parents are notified and acknowledge the report in their app, creating a dated record.
- [Nanny–parent messaging](https://nannydaily.com/features/parent-messaging) (Free and Premium): NannyLog has built-in messaging between the nanny or babysitter and the child’s parents, so updates, questions and photos stay next to the child’s log instead of in personal text threads.
- [Expenses and receipts](https://nannydaily.com/features/expenses) (Free and Premium): NannyLog tracks out-of-pocket childcare expenses. Snap the receipt, log the amount, and the parents approve and mark it reimbursed in their app.
- [Shared calendar](https://nannydaily.com/features/calendar) (Free and Premium): NannyLog has a calendar shared between the caregiver and parents for shifts, days off, appointments, school events and playdates, with notifications for the event types each person cares about.
- [Supply requests](https://nannydaily.com/features/supply-requests) (Free and Premium): NannyLog supply requests let the caregiver tell parents what is running low, such as diapers, wipes, formula or snacks, with an urgency level, so the parents know what to buy.
- [Arrival check-in](https://nannydaily.com/features/check-in) (Premium): NannyLog offers an optional arrival check-in that can include your location at the start of a shift, so parents know you have arrived. Location is only used when you check in.

## Getting started

1. **Download and add the children.** Start free on iPhone or iPad. Add the children you care for and set your rate.
2. **Invite the parents.** Send each parent an invite from Settings → Parents. They join free with an 8-character code.
3. **Log, report and get paid.** Log the day as it happens, send a daily report, clock your hours and send the invoice.

## Privacy

- **AI that stays on your iPhone.** The optional AI report draft uses Apple Intelligence on the device (iOS 26 or later), so notes about a child aren’t sent to a third-party AI service to write it.
- **Only the right people see it.** A child’s information is shared only with their caregivers and the parents you connect. No ads, no tracking SDKs, and we don’t sell data.

## Pricing
