When your nanny or babysitter uses NannyLog, you get a live timeline of meals, naps, diapers and photos, a daily report at the end of the day, and clear hours and invoices. It is free for parents.

## What NannyLog fixes

- **“How was the day?”:** Read the timeline and the daily report, with photos, before pickup.
- **Paying the right amount:** See the same hours your nanny tracked, and every invoice.
- **Knowing about accidents:** Get notified of incident reports and acknowledge them in the app.
- **Keeping the schedule straight:** Add appointments and school events to a shared calendar.

## Features you’ll use every day

- [Daily reports for parents](https://nannydaily.com/features/daily-reports) (Free and Premium): NannyLog turns the day’s logs into a short daily report for the parents. On supported iPhones it can draft the summary with Apple Intelligence on the device, and parents get a push notification when the report is sent.
- [Childcare activity log](https://nannydaily.com/features/activity-log) (Free and Premium): NannyLog is a childcare activity log for nannies and babysitters. Meals, naps, diapers, activities, milestones and photos are each a tap or two, timestamped, and visible to the child’s parents in their own app.
- [Incident reports](https://nannydaily.com/features/incident-reports) (Free and Premium): NannyLog lets nannies and babysitters document incidents such as falls, bumps or behavior concerns with a severity level, notes and photos. Parents are notified and acknowledge the report in their app, creating a dated record.
- [Shared calendar](https://nannydaily.com/features/calendar) (Free and Premium): NannyLog has a calendar shared between the caregiver and parents for shifts, days off, appointments, school events and playdates, with notifications for the event types each person cares about.
- [Expenses and receipts](https://nannydaily.com/features/expenses) (Free and Premium): NannyLog tracks out-of-pocket childcare expenses. Snap the receipt, log the amount, and the parents approve and mark it reimbursed in their app.
- [Nanny–parent messaging](https://nannydaily.com/features/parent-messaging) (Free and Premium): NannyLog has built-in messaging between the nanny or babysitter and the child’s parents, so updates, questions and photos stay next to the child’s log instead of in personal text threads.
